1. Parties

Important: For event ticket sales, the Host is the primary seller. Meetverse acts as the intermediary service provider under Law No. 6563 and as the marketplace operator under Law No. 6502, and provides payment collection. The Host's full trade name, address, tax ID and other details are displayed on the event page and order summary.
1.2. Buyer
A consumer within the meaning of CPL Art. 3/k who purchases an event ticket, digital content or subscription service via the Platform.

2. Subject Matter
This Agreement governs the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the sale and delivery/performance of the product/service ordered by the Buyer electronically via the Meetverse platform, in accordance with the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation dated 27 November 2014.

4. General Provisions
- The Buyer acknowledges that they have read and understood the basic features of the service, its price, payment method, delivery conditions and all other pre-contract information, and that they have provided the required electronic confirmation.
- Prior to the conclusion of this Agreement, the Preliminary Information Form has been provided to the Buyer and electronically confirmed.
- Pursuant to the Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5, a copy of the Preliminary Information and Agreement is sent to the Buyer via a durable medium (e-mail).
5. Payment Terms
5.1. Payment Methods
- Credit/debit card (3D Secure 2.0),
- Saved card (with the Buyer's explicit consent via tokenization),
- BKM Express,
- Apple Pay / Google Pay (where enabled),
- For in-person events, cash or card at the venue where permitted by the Host.
5.2. Payment Infrastructure
All card payments are processed via PCI-DSS certified PayTR and/or iyzico. Meetverse does not store the full PAN, expiry date or CVV. Card data is held only within the secure infrastructure of the payment institution.
5.3. 3D Secure
Under BRSA regulations and 3DSv2 (PSD2 SCA), 3D Secure authentication may be required. Transactions failing authentication will be rejected.
5.4. Invoice
- After payment confirmation, an invoice (e-archive invoice / e-invoice) is sent to the Buyer's e-mail address.
- For corporate invoices, the tax number and tax office must be entered during purchase.
- In case of delay due to force majeure or technical reasons, the invoice will be sent within 7 (seven) business days at the latest.
5.5. Refund Disbursement
Refunds are made to the Buyer via the original payment method; reconciliation timelines of banks and card schemes are outside Meetverse's control.
6. Delivery / Performance
6.1. Digital Delivery
- Tickets are delivered to the Buyer's account and e-mail instantly upon payment confirmation.
- The ticket appears as a QR code under "My Tickets" and is scanned at event entry.
- Access to on-demand content is granted instantly upon payment confirmation.
6.2. Performance Date

6.3. Party Responsible for Performance
The Host is primarily responsible for the performance of the service. Meetverse provides platform infrastructure, payment collection and intermediary services.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Refund Conditions
7.1. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal (Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 15)
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:
- Art. 15/1-g: Contracts relating to accommodation, transport, car rental, food/beverage supply and contracts for the use of leisure time (event tickets and live broadcast services fall within this scope) to be performed on a specific date or period.
- Art. 15/1-ğ: Services performed instantly via electronic means and intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer (digital content, subscriptions).
- Art. 15/1-h: Services whose performance has commenced with the consumer's consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
7.2. Additional Refund Right Provided by Meetverse Despite the Statutory Exception
Even where the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, Meetverse provides the following discretionary additional refund right as a customer-satisfaction measure. The Host may expand but not narrow these rights for a specific event.

Event-specific refund rules are clearly displayed on the event page prior to purchase. By confirming the purchase, the Buyer is deemed to have accepted those specific rules.
7.3. Refund Period
- Approved refunds are credited to the Buyer's original payment method within 14 days at the latest (per Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 12).
- For bank/card scheme/store-based purchases (Apple, Google Play), processing times are outside Meetverse's control.
7.4. Refund Request

8. Cancellation Terms
8.1. By the Buyer
Permitted under the refund rules in Section 7.2.
8.2. By the Host
If the Host cancels the event or makes a material change (date, time, venue, instructor), the Buyer is notified immediately and the full amount paid is refunded within 14 days.
8.3. By Meetverse
Meetverse may cancel or suspend the event in cases such as: rule violation, legal obligation, suspicion of fraud, payment dispute, decision of a competent authority. In such cases, the fee is refunded.
9. Force Majeure
In cases of natural disaster, pandemic, war, terrorism, public authority decision, internet/POS infrastructure failure, cyber-attack, strike/lockout and similar force majeure events, the contractual obligations of the parties are evaluated under Code of Obligations Art. 136. The full fee is refunded for events that cannot be performed due to force majeure.
10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
10.1. First Application
Complaints and objections must first be sent to destek@meetverse.org. Requests are responded to within 30 days at the latest.
10.2. Objection Process
A refund rejection or erroneous transaction decision may be objected to within 14 days; objections are evaluated independently by the senior support team.
10.3. Consumer Arbitration Board / Court
- If the dispute amount is below the monetary thresholds announced annually by the Ministry of Trade as of 1 January, the matter is submitted to the District/Provincial Consumer Arbitration Board; if above, to the Consumer Courts.

10.4. Online Dispute Resolution
Applications may also be made via the Ministry of Trade's e-Tüketici and similar online platforms.
11. Jurisdiction
- For Buyers who qualify as consumers, the Consumer Courts and District/Provincial Consumer Arbitration Boards of the Buyer's place of residence are competent.
- For other matters, the Istanbul (Anadolu) Courts and Enforcement Offices are competent.
12. Notices and Evidence Agreement
- The e-mail and phone registered in the Buyer's account are determinative for all notices between the parties.
- Pursuant to Civil Procedure Law Art. 193, Meetverse's commercial books, records, server logs and e-mail records constitute exclusive evidence in disputes between the parties. This clause constitutes an evidence agreement.
13. Entry into Force
This Agreement enters into force when the Buyer ticks the box "I have read the Preliminary Information Form and accept the Distance Sales Agreement" electronically and confirms the payment.
An electronic copy of the Agreement is sent to the Buyer with the order confirmation e-mail and can be accessed at any time under "My Account > Transaction History".
